Apocalyptic Studies - Lesson 8

The Divine Romance, the Messianic Banquet and the Prophetic Meal
by Ed Taylor

This study wraps up the series with a lesson on the Divine Romance in the bible, Yahweh as husband to Israel, Jesus as bridegroom to the Church, the Messianic Banquet at the end of the age, banquet imagery in the NT, the Great Feast for the Scavengers in Ezekiel and Revelation, and how the Lord's Supper is a prophetic meal pointing to the Messianic Banquet that Jesus will host for the saints in the Age to Come.

Apocalyptic Studies - Lesson 7

Israel and Her Prophetic Destiny
by Ed Taylor

Understanding God's plans for Israel is an important key to understanding apocalyptic revelation in the bible.

In this study we discuss Replacement Theology, Paul's teaching in Romans 11 on national Israel's destiny, Jewish election and priority, and Israel as firstborn son among the nations. Also covered is a high level overview of prophetic events recently fulfilled and those still future for Israel including the return of Israel from global exile to their own land, the end of Gentile control of Jerusalem, Psalm 83 prophecy, Ezekiel's war (Gog and Magog), and Zechariah's prophecy about all nations being gathered to fight against Jerusalem.
